Baby Chicks Arrive in Time For Easter Eggstravaganza

PUXTON Park outside Weston-super-Mare has welcomed its new baby chicks who have hatched and taken centre stage for its Easter Celebrations.

The chicks have been closely monitored by park rangers in their incubators and have now arrived safely into the world just in time for Easter.

Visitors can get up close to the chicks and Puxton’s bunnies, as well as taking part in a host of Easter themed fun during a two week Easter Extravaganza, from March 27-April 12.

Activities include an Easter Egg hunt, lunch with Puxton’s mascot Ruxton Rabbit (£5 fee) and face painting.

Head of Park, Sarah Warren, said: “Some of our young visitors found it fascinating to see the tiny chicks tap their way out with their beaks and emerge from their shells.

“Now all of our visitors can enjoy watching them grow and hopefully become strong enough for handling over Easter.”
