SHOES worn by James Bond Actress, Jane Seymour, will be auctioned off at Weston-super-Mare’s iconic pier.
The Grand Pier, on Weston seafront, is hosting an Auction of Heels, on July 12, at 2pm, to raise funds for Weston Hospicecare.
Coveted labels such as Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Prada, and Valentino will be up for auction, along with a pair of shoes signed by the glamourous Bond star, Jane Seymour.
All proceeds, along with the £2 entry fee, will go to Weston Hospicecare to fund patient care and pain medication.
Event organisers, David Plaister estate agents, say they aim to offer cut-price designer heels while raising money for charity.
Mr Plaister said: “We normally auction houses but felt we could try our hand at auctioning ‘previously loved’ designer heels for charity and we have been overwhelmed with the response.
“This is the first of our quarterly fundraisers we are planning and we hope it will generate a generous sum for Weston Hospicecare.”
Paul Charalambous, Grand Pier General Manager, said: “We are proud to be hosts to such a wonderful charitable event and hope all of the shoes, including those donated by Jane Seymour, will help Weston Hospicecare to continue its valuable work within our community.”
Anyone wishing to make a donation can deliver shoes to The Hair Gallery on the Boulevard, Weston, Escape Hair and Beauty, in Bleadon or Skidmore’s in Worle High Street.
