Wildlife Explorers Urged to Get Closer To Nature
WILDLIFE lovers can get closer to nature during a two day festival at a South West attraction.
Puxton Park, outside Weston-super-Mare, is giving young explorers the chance to get involved in a range of interactive activities on June 13 and 14.
They include wildlife spotting, pond dipping, bug hunts, nature trails and seed planting with the park’s rangers.
The mini festival is Puxton’s way of celebrating the Bristol Festival of Nature, which inspires people to engage with nature and conservation.
Sarah Warren, Adventure Park Manager, said: “Our ongoing conservation efforts help us to attract a vast range of wildlife to Puxton Park.
“We hope our mini nature festival will encourage visitors both young and old to get closer to nature and appreciate our beautiful countryside.”
